About Us
Lauren is from Fayetteville, NC, where she became known for her athletic talents. She was recruited by Western Carolina University for softball and set numerous records while there. As a college athlete, Lauren gained professional advice in speed and agility, fastpitch and muscle recovery. Lauren also held a 9-year record for most homerooms while at Western!
In 2012, Lauren moved to Anderson, SC, and became a personal trainer and hitting instructor, studying under Mr. USA 1988 for three years. During that time, Lauren competed in the SNBF Natural Bodybuilding competition within the figure category and, as a Novice, won 5th place. Not long after, she took her love for teaching and taught at Barnes Academy as the PE and Music teacher. In 2016, Lauren felt led to go into personal training full time and opened Freedom Fitness.
"I believe that living in fullness includes being healthy physically, mentally, and spiritually. I think that the most difficult and yet, a vital part of changing a person's lifestyle is renewing their mind. I teach them to find and tear down negative thoughts and lies that most people think about themselves every day. Most men and women cannot treat their bodies as temples because they don't believe that they're royalty, but that's exactly who they are!
I desire to see people live in freedom and start a movement where people are no longer content with settling. Where men and women refuse to live in mediocrity because they realize that they are worth so much more."

"Being a victim of bullying and abuse, my self-esteem was low. My health journey began like many others; I wanted to lose the weight I gained from anxious eating. This journey took a significant turn once I realized the profound correlation between my mental state and my health patterns. It wasn't until I began changing my thoughts and speech that I was free from the love/hate relationship I had with food. I desire to teach others how to combine the power of mental health with physical health so they can live a life more full and confident in whatever situation they may face!"
